LIVE: Scottish Learning Festival 2012 – #SLF2012

Logo for the Scottish Learning Festival 2012The Scottish Learning Festival – Scotland’s major annual festival of all things teaching and learning related kicks off today at the SECC, Glasgow.  

Tying in with 2012 as the year of Creative Scotland, this year’s festival theme is ‘Creative Learning… Creative Thinking’ with a keynote sessions including the Chief Executive of the RSA, Matthew Taylor and Paul Collard, Chief Executive of Creativity, Imaginatiion and Education.

Other keynotes include Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning, Michael Russell MSP and Keith Grint, Professor of Public Leadership at Warwick University Business School.

There’s plenty outwith these sessions whatever your interests, including representation from Education Scotland, the SQA, the National Partnership Group, the National Parent Forum of Scotland and  Pedagoo, to list just a fraction of the groups and organisations in attendance… you can find out who else will be there and access the full programme online at Education Scotland’s dedicated SLF 2012 page.
